Module introduction:


With the emergence of the USB protocol, peripherals of personal computers have sprung up. Similarly, as the latest open Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless application technology for smartphones, there are similarities and similarities. BLE technology makes it possible for electronic products to bridge smart phones. Compared with W-F. Bletooth2.0 and other wireless technologies, it has the advantages of low energy consumption, fast connection, and longer communication distance, so that the peripheral electronic devices of smart phones have a broader development prospect.





The module serves as a bridge for smartphone peripherals, making host-side application development extremely simple. In the bridge mode (serial port), the user's existing products or solutions can cooperate with this transparent transmission module to easily communicate with mobile devices (need to support Bluetooth 4.0) to achieve super intelligent control and management.





RSBRSO2AA and RSBRS02AI low-power Bluetooth modules use RF-Star's RSOZA1 as the core processor. The module runs on 2.4 GHz ISM band, GFSK modulation method (Gaussian frequency shift keying), 40 channels 2MHz channel gap, 3 fixed broadcast channels, 37 adaptive automatic frequency hopping data channels, the physical layer can be compatible with classic Bluetooth RF Combined into a dual-mode device, the 2 MHz gap can better prevent interference from adjacent channels.





The design purpose of this module is to quickly bridge electronic products and smart mobile devices, and can be widely used in various electronic devices with this demand, such as instrumentation, logistics tracking, health care, smart home motion measurement, automotive electronics, leisure toys, etc. With the integration of Android 4.3 smart devices with BLE technology, the standard BLE for smart phones will surely become fashionable, and the market demand for mobile peripherals will multiply. Users can use this module to integrate existing solutions or products with the shortest development cycle, occupy the market at the fastest speed, and at the same time inject new technical force into the development of the enterprise.


Module features:


1. Simple to use, no need for any Bluetooth protocol stack application experience;
2. The user interface uses a universal serial port design, full-duplex two-way communication. The lowest baud rate supports 4800bps;
3. The default connection interval is 20ms, the connection is fast, and the compatibility between Android and IOS is good;
4. Support AT command software reset module;
5. Get MAC address, support AT command to modify MAC address (requires reset to take effect)
6. Support AT commands to adjust the Bluetooth connection interval and control different forwarding rates; (dynamic power consumption adjustment)
7. Support AT command to adjust the transmission power, modify the broadcast interval, customize the device identification code, modify the serial port baud rate, modify the module name, please refer to the AT command table for details;
8. The length of the serial port data packet can be any length below 500Byte (including 500) (large packets are automatically distributed);
9. High-speed transparent transmission and forwarding, the fastest can reach 8.2K/5, and it can work stably at 4.7K/S (under IOS10 system);
10. Support mobile device APP to modify the module name, modify the serial port baud rate, product identification code, customize the broadcast content, and broadcast cycle;
11. Support the mobile device APP to remotely reset the module and set the transmission power;
12. Support mobile device APP to adjust Bluetooth connection interval (dynamic power consumption adjustment);
13. Support the setting, modification and recovery of anti-movement passwords to prevent malicious connections from third parties. It can also not be used, and the independent password operation result notification is convenient for APP programming;
14. Support single-pin ground (long press) SS to restore the default password, ground (long press) 20S factory reset, APP remote restore factory settings;
15. The broadcast content prompts the module's real-time system status, including setting information such as MAC address, connection gap, broadcast cycle, data delay time, serial port baud rate, custom device identification code and anti-hijacking password enable;
16. Support shallow recovery and deep recovery modes, flexibly recover user data, and reserved products must be configured;

17. Very low power consumption standby mode, the sleep current of the RSO2A1 chip is 1.7uA, and the measured power consumption of the module is as follows:
