Overview

PLBus512 performs DMX512 light control data transmission through the light power cord, and implements light control without the need to lay an additional RS485 control line. Therefore, construction, installation, commissioning and maintenance are simple and convenient, and the overall cost is low (Note: DMX512 is currently a commonly used industry standard for lighting control. PLBus512 directly supports this standard). The PLBus512 decoder board is a small module that transmits and receives data through the power cord and can be placed in the lamp. It receives DMX512 light control data directly from the light power line, and connects to the original DMX512 decoding and driving power board in the light to implement light control, which is simple and easy to use.

● Carrier working support frequency range: 2.4-5.7MHz
● Default communication rate: ≥250kbps can support data relay standard, DMX512 data transmission, support 4 levels, limit can support 15 levels
● Communication distance: under normal conditions, up to 100 meters, the limit communication distance is 300 meters

● UART serial interface: 0~3.3V TTL level, the default 250kbps standard DMX512 interface, the default serial port is TXD1, RXD1 (PIN18, 19)

Application framework

The encoder board receives PLC signals from the line through a coupling transformer or couples the sent PLC signals to the line.
Withstand voltage: According to different line voltage, select the appropriate safety capacitor withstand voltage value.

Performance parameters: PLBus512 lighting control system includes control terminal and light node, as shown in the figure below. The control terminal includes DMX512 controller, PLBus512 encoder, and power supply. The light node includes PLBus512 decoder board, light drive power supply and LED lamp beads. The control end PLBus512 encoder obtains the DMX512 light control data from the standard DMX512 controller through the RS485 interface, encodes and modulates it and sends it to the power supply line of the light node. The lamp node PLBus512 decoder board receives DMX512 data from the power line and connects to the lamp driving power supply through the RS485 interface. The driving power supply controls the lamp head according to the control instructions.
